Situated at the backdrop of Bhimashankar; Padargad is a small fort with almost no ruins but just few water tanks and caves.
What makes it trekker’s delight is the climb to this fort which is considered as a medium grade as it demands technical skill and equipments.
To reach the top of Padargad one has to cross a few rock patches and a chimney climb which makes it the most trilling experience.
Once you reach atop you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the entire bhimashankar range. One can see Siddhagad, Kothligad (Peth) and Bhimashankar from here.
Day 0: Saturday, 6th May 17
Meeting Point: 23:15 @ Karjat Station.
Proceed towards the base village Khandas by private vehicle.
Check the recommended train timing in travel help section
Day 1: Sunday, 7th May 17
Reach Khandas by 01.00 AM.
Start the trek around 01:30am and reach the base of Padargad by 04:30am.
Rest at the base of Padargad till morning.
Breakfast and move towards Padargad by 06:30am.
Reach atop in 2 hrs.
Explore the fort and start the descend by 10:00am.
Reach Padarwadi by 12:00pm
Descend To Khandas.
Reach Khandas move to Karjat from there By 5 pm
Evening refreshment at Karjat.
Reach Mumbai by 8:00-8:30pm tentatively.
