Bhandar Durg :

In the year 1752, the warrior from Peshwa’s camp, Trimbak Suryaji Prabhu wrested the fort and established the Peshwa’s regime there. It was in the year 1818 that British forces led by Mc Dowell wrested the fort and gained upper hand in the region as the forces won a set of 16 other forts in the vicinity.

Brahmagiri (Trimbakgad) :

Trimbakeshwar Temple is perched on the picturesque lusting green Brahmagiri hills near Nasik in Maharashtra. River Godavari originates on this hill and flows though the Brahmagiri ranges.

Day 1: Saturday, 6th February 16

We will be starting with the Morning CST - Kasara Fast Local (Time table given below)

People may board the same Kasara train from the station of their convenience and meet us in the train directly. (Get into second boggy from CST side)
We will proceed to the Trimbakeshwar Temple by Local Transport.
Breakfast on the way
Reach the Temple by 11:30 am
Post Introduction , Start Trek to Brahmagiri Top. (Rock cut steps to reach on top of Brahmagiri)
Reach the Top by 1:00 pm
Lunch Time
Post Lunch Rest for some time
Setup the Tent.
Fun time
Enjoy Sunset from the top.
Preparation for Dinner
Post Dinner Enjoy Camp Fire.
Retire for the day. (Tented Accommodation)

Day 2: Sunday, 7th February 16

Wake up at 06:00 am
Enjoy Sun Rise from the top of Brahmagiri
Post Breakfast Start Trek to Bhandar Durg by 7.30 am
Reach the Top by 9am
Explore and Start Descending by 10.30 pm
Reach Base Village by 1.30 pm
Lunch at the Base Village.
Start our Return Journey by 4pm
Evening Tea/Coffee on the way
Reach Mumbai by 9-10 pm.
